The Jordan Brand continues to extend its signature lineup with the introduction of the Zion 3 shoe. This latest edition is designed to complement Zion Williamson’s explosive playing style, with emphasis on containment, court feel, and impact protection​1​.

The midsole of the Zion 3 integrates Formula 23 foam and a forefoot Zoom Air unit. These features combine to provide responsive cushioning designed to absorb the forces inherent in Zion’s dynamic gameplay. The shoe also incorporates a drop-in midsole for stability and comfort. Remarkably, the stack height of the Zion 3 is the lowest yet in a Zion signature shoe. This design aspect enables players to maintain their control and agility on the court​​.

A distinctive “Z” icon is featured prominently on the shoe, providing lateral containment through a raised TPU material. The design inspiration for the Zion 3 comes from Zion’s journey, from his hometown of Marion, South Carolina, to his current prominence in the NBA. The upper part of the Zion 3 displays a unique material and color splatter. This creative choice was achieved using 3D imaging of Zion’s foot in motion through mud, symbolizing his path to success.
