Footpatrol, the London-based retailer, and Clarks Originals are taking their longstanding partnership to new heights with the unveiling of a tranquil two-piece footwear collection named "Zen"​1​. Drawing inspiration from the serene environment of Japanese zen gardens, the collaboration amalgamates both classic and contemporary styles to curate a distinctive and tranquil footwear experience.

This collaboration comes years after a successful venture in 2013, the Tawyer Pack, which reimagined sportswear-inspired silhouettes. The current drop, spearheaded by the campaign face, grime legend D Double E, ventures into the iconic Wallabee boot and welcomes the latest silhouette from Clarks Originals, the Desert Trek Cup, infusing a creative spin on both styles​​.

Both the Wallabee boot and the Desert Trek Cup feature a blend of long nap Chewbacca suede and soft suede uppers. They are adorned with embroidered rake patterns on the mudguard and toe vamp, mirroring the tranquil raked sand of zen gardens. The Wallabee boot sports a minimalist grey build, matching its moccasin overstitch and lace system, embodying a sense of quiet elegance​​.

Adding to the exclusive allure, Clarks Originals lace fobs showcase the Footpatrol Gasmask logo. This is complemented by darker grey laces, metallic gold-printed branding on a wine-colored leather footbed, and a gummy crepe that lends a grounded feel to the collaboration​1.

The Desert Trek Cup silhouette, another standout feature in the collection, showcases Footpatrol's commitment to artistic craftsmanship. Featuring an ankle-cut design with grey suede uppers and a buttery texture, the design is enhanced with embroidered rake patterns across the mudguard, sidewalls, and heels. Additional nostalgic elements are introduced through extra laces, branded ankle flaps, and lace fobs. The design is completed by a dual-branded leather footbed and a thick welded crepe outsole, offering a blend of sophistication and comfort​​.
